The RCM Working Group on Protection

• Promotes, from a perspective of shared responsibility the implementation of actions that strengthen national capacity and regional cooperation for the care and protection of migrants in a framework of respect for human rights, especially for those in vulnerable situations or who have been victims or subjects to crimes.

The Working Group on Protection is coordinated by the Mexican Commission for Aid to Refugees (COMAR, in Spanish) and is composed by : the COMAR, the National Migration Institute (INM, in Spanish), the National System for the Integral Development of Families (SNDIF, in Spanish), the Executive Secretariat of the National System for the Protection of Girls, Boys and Adolescents (SIPINNA), the National Women's Institute (INMUJERES, in Spanish), the Unit for Migration Policy, Registry and Identity of Persons (UPMRIP, in Spanish) of the Ministry of Interior (SEGOB, in Spanish) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE, in Spanish).
