Labor migration
To promote the benefits of a safe, orderly, and regular labor migration, and its link to the development of countries of origin, transit, and destination, the RCM Labor Migration Working Group:
- Promotes full respect for the labor rights of migrant workers within a framework of respect for human rights.
- Promotes ethical recruitment practices and decent work, to prevent the exploitation of migrant workers.
The Working Group on Labor Migration is coordinated by the National Institute Migration (INM, in Spanish) and the Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare (STyPS, in Spanish) is composed by: the INM, the STyPS, the Unit for Migration Policy, Registry and Identity of Persons (UPMRIP, in Spanish) of the Ministry of Interior (SEGOB, in Spanish), the National Women's Institute (INMUJERES, in Spanish) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE, in Spanish).
